In Loving Memory of
William Eugene “Bill” Johnson
of Lynnwood, WA
09/28/1953 – 07/12/2026

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Darlene (Long) Johnson, and by his niece, Pauline Martin. He is survived by his brothers, Skip (Lisa) and Wes (Roberto); his sister, Deb (Kerry) Bowers; his nieces, Suna Alcantara and Grace Johnson; and his nephew, Tyler Martin.
Born on September 28, 1953, in Billings, Montana, Bill spent his entire working life as a carpenter, building single-family and multi-family homes throughout Washington State. Outside of work, Bill had many interests. He enjoyed cars and car shows, with a special appreciation for late 1960s Buicks. He was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and looked forward to following the team each season. He also loved his pets and was known as a master lefse maker for family holidays, a tradition that remained an important part of those gatherings. He was an active member of the MLT Senior Center. Bill was also generous with his time, helping family, friends and neighbors and volunteering wherever he was needed.
A memorial service will be held on September 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church MLT, 23406 56th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043.
Charitable donations in honor of Bill may be given to Bethesda Lutheran Church MLT, earmarked for the BCS and Feeding Fund to help those in need in the area.
A special thank you to his church and friends that supported and encouraged him over the past 5 and a half years of his life following his stroke in December 2020.
