Born on December 6, 1963, John lived a life marked by intellectual curiosity and achievement. He earned his bachelor's degree from Auburn University, a master's degree in mathematics from Georgetown University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University. John went on to enjoy a career in the practice of law, where he was respected for his knowledge, integrity, and dedication to his clients.
John made his home in Seattle, where he lived and worked for many years. Throughout his life, he valued education, human and animal rights, and the relationships he shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Crosby Wood; his parents, Dan Wood and Cinda Butler Wood; his sister, Cinda Bross; and his brother-in-law, niece, and nephew. His family finds comfort in the many memories they shared with him.
A private family memorial will be held. The family appreciates the support, prayers, and expressions of sympathy received during this difficult time.
The memory of John will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
