Wallace was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 29, 1945 to the late Lillian and Wallace Mealing, Sr. Wallace served in the U.S. Navy for six years and the U.S. Coast Guard for 20 years. His passions included classic cars and motorcycles. Wallace is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gwendolyn Mealing; daughters Deirdre (Tarik Jackson) and Angela Mealing (Ramos Patterson); grandchildren Keano, Alaysia, Parker (Precious), Lauryn, Madison, and Olivia; and great-grandchildren Amiya and Riley. He is also survived by his brother Michael Mealing, sister Marilyn Drayton, sister-in-law Renee, and niece Janae (Chris, Dominic, Anthony Gwizdala). He was preceded in death by his brother Alvin Mealing. Wallace will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to you and your family!
I know how it feels losing loved ones, the emptiness inside and the pain knowing they’re not there physically.
One thing I also know for sure is LIFE after death called ETERNAL LIFE!!
I just lost my brother also from San Diego Ca. in March and I know he’s with my Mom and Dad now!

I’m so sorry to hear about your precious loss!! I will never forget how Mr. Wallace Jr. would come by the office on his bike for many years and visit You, because he was retired talked to all of us and be so kind, some jokes and words of wisdom!! He will be greatly missed!
