Are there family members I can contact ? He’s a nephew.. Barbara Lervold Grant
Extending our deepest sympathy and Sending much love and prayers to you, Lindsey and your entire family.
I met Ole as I walked on my usual route down Walker Park Road to the county park on Hammersley Inlet. On July 16, 2018, Ole and I struck up a conversation and soon learned we both were retired carpenters. He from Tacoma Local 470, and I from Olympia Local 1148. He was always ready to chat whenever I stopped by his place, a converted industrial building once housing Arcadia Drilling. I was impressed at his craft knowledge and abilities, and his ideas for the building. Ole was always busy. He had mentioned he was a stroke survivor and had a daughter in Tacoma. He had moved to our area from Tacoma. I always looked forward and planned the extra time to pause in my walk to have a conversation with Ole. I noticed his place becoming quiet with the blinds down in early June. I became concerned as he remained unseen until today when I saw a realtor’s sign on the building. I found this site immediately upon entering his name into my computer’s search engine. I will miss his opens and cheerful banter with me. My condolences to Ole’s daughter and other family members. Please know that the Ole I encountered was a good man with whom I shared many of the same experiences. My his memory be forever a blessing.
Will miss Johnny’s smile, his laugh and my 40 plus years of friendship with him. We had some great adventures and I have wonderful, special and crazy memories. You’ll always live in my thoughts. I was blessed to have you in my life….. Special condolences to his daughter and the rest of his family.
Wow, I have known this man since the early eighties, we worked together as carpenters for many years. I just returned from working in China and have been trying to reach him. I thought I would try to find him on line as I lost my phone in China along with his contact info. I need to find a way to contact Lindsey his daughter who lives in Gig Harbor I believe. Ole was a great friend and I am going to miss his Norwiegion sense of humor and his unique outlook on life.Ole you are one of the best my friend
