Born June 30, 1943, to Kenneth E and Ruth Shirley (McLachlan) Bentley in Evart, Michigan.

Died March 8, 2018, at Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, Washington.

Karen was a very knowledgeable friend with a ready laugh. She always saw the funny side of things. I have known her since college days in Michigan. we traveled together for a week of canoeing in the boundry waters and took many hikes together. She was musical and enjoyed playing the piano and singing in groups.
she will be greatly missed!
