Our condolences to the Gregory Family.
Comment *I was a Small She was a young child when I got to know JIL. I attended her wedding. She was my God Sister. Jils parents Wayne and JoAnne Luke were my God Parents. Wayne and JoAnne were instrumental in my parent’s union as my mother and father both attended their youth group at Beverly Park Alliance Church before they were married. JIL was a young child at that time, about 7 years old. Her father was the pastor of their Church. Marcia and Roger Kuhlman my parents were wed at their Church. Wayne Luke officiated. I moved to Moses Lake where I bought my first home on the first of February 2019 just 4 days before Jils passing. Over the years I had gotten to know the Gregory’s and the Luke’s a bit more by being sent to my God Parents home when I was a teenager because my parents were at a loss as to how they should deal with my awkward age so they left it up to Jils mother JoAnne to try to crack my code! LOL! Poor JoAnne and Poor Wayne he drove truck for darigold and I could plow through a gallon of Chocolate ice cream that Wayne would bring home from his job in a couple if days!! I followed Jils younger sister Elaine around while she dove the ice cream cart around the base in Moses Lake, her in her ice cream cart and me on her bike. Those were the days. Elaine had a Christian record album I played over and over titled “Love Song” with Chuck Girard. Tim got engaged to Kim that summer while I helped out handing out buttons for Jesus at their booth at the county fair. Nanette was a tiny child at the time. When I moved to Moses Lake in my late 50’s I did what I could to locate all of the members of my God Family but to no avail. Sadly I found out today that JIL had left this earth to be with my father, her father and both of our mothers to be with our Father In Heaven and I am sorry we never found the chance to catch up together as adults. I now leave my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Luke and Gregory families and to Nanette I lost my mother too at the age of 68 and I know how that feels for a daughter to have lost her mother so very young. May God bless you and keep you all. Much love, Coleen kay.
